There are three main points in strengthening the business. First, we are committed to the development of new products for facilities such as offices and stores. For example, by 2012, the overall efficiency of lighting fixtures up to about 100 lm/W is now increased to 120 lm/W. "At present, the efficiency of LED packaging is 103 ~ 110lm / W. The comprehensive efficiency of 100lm / W of the appliance is achieved by minimizing the loss of the instruments produced by ourselves. For example, the efficiency of the power supply circuit is more than 93%. Further improvement, coupled with the improvement of LED packaging efficiency, the overall efficiency of the appliance can achieve 120lm / W" (Mitsubishi Electric Lighting).
The development of new products also includes an increase in the number of products. According to reports, by 2012, the current LED lighting product group will be increased to 800 models, and in 2015 it will be further increased to 1,500 models.
Second, strengthen the cooperation with Germany's OSRAM. Specifically, it is to accelerate the introduction of Osram Optoelectronics LED bulb products into Japan. The reason is that Mitsubishi Electric OSRAM announced on June 15, 2010 that the shutdown date of ordinary incandescent bulbs will be advanced from the original "before 2012" to "before the end of March 2011".

Third, from 2010, the lighting life of appliances will be increased to more than 50,000 hours, and the number of maintenance will be reduced. The original 40,000-hour life expectancy can be increased by 25%. "In addition to extending the life of the LED package itself (as long as 70% of the initial brightness), the life of the lighting device that was not noticed is designed to be 6 Ten thousand hours. We can guarantee a lifetime of 50,000 hours."
