Shanghai lays the foundation for the development of electric light source industry
In 1952, based on the original singular Anderson company, the state-owned Shanghai Light Bulb Factory was established, which is the first state-owned enterprise in Shanghai Electric Light Source Industry. After the public-private partnership in the whole industry in 1956, Shanghai was reorganized into a group of 24 private light bulb factories together with the state-owned Shanghai light bulb factory into four major light bulb backbone enterprises.
In the 1960s and 1970s, a series of reorganizations and rectifications were carried out with the four major light bulb companies of Shanghai Instrument and Telecommunications System. They formed Shanghai Light Bulb No. 3 Plant, Shanghai Special Bulb Factory, Shanghai Special Bulb No. 2 Plant, No. 3 Plant and No. 4 Plant. In addition, Shanghai also has neon lights for commercial systems, lamps for two-light systems, and special light source industries for education and scientific research systems.

Energy-saving light source industry base is springing up
After entering the new century, the old lighting manufacturing bases are seeking greater breakthroughs.
