In the past, upgrading SSDs meant a large amount of overhead. Toshiba recently introduced a solid state drive VX500 with SATA interface. The OCZ TL100's maximum continuous read and write speeds are 550MB/s and 530 MB/s, respectively. The maximum random read and write speeds are respectively 85,000/8,000 IOPS, and the write lifetime is 60TB. The OCZ TL100 comes in two models - 120GB and 240GB respectively, with a 3-year warranty. If quality problems occur, users can easily exchange goods during the warranty period.

The 120GB version of the Toshiba OCZ TL100 has a suggested retail price of US$44.99 (approximately RMB300), and the 240GB version costs US$67.99 (approximately RMB453).
