Just a day earlier, on January 8th (local time), Baidu held its World Congress and introduced Aladdin, a smart projection ceiling lamp developed in collaboration with Kizemi. The product recently concluded its crowdfunding campaign in Japan. Aladdin is a multifunctional device that combines the features of a ceiling lamp, projector, and speaker. It uses a 6th-order dimmable LED light source, compatible with Japan’s standard ceiling lamp interface for easy installation. With high-quality audio and pole-meter projection technology, it delivers an immersive 100-inch or larger screen experience. Most impressively, it integrates DuerOS, allowing users to control the device through voice commands. Simply speak to turn lights on/off, access information, or enjoy entertainment content.
At CES 2018, several products stood out, including the Extreme Rice No-Screen TV Z6. Two other products—A1 Pro and CC Aurora—alongside Lightank W100, were honored with the CES Innovation Award. A1 Pro won in the home audio and video equipment category, CC Aurora in portable player and accessories, and Lightank W100 in computer hardware and accessories.
One of the most anticipated launches at the event was the Zimbabwe Z6, a 1080P LED light source no-screen TV priced under RMB 3,000. It was set to be launched in China in March. However, details about this model remain limited, so stay tuned for more updates.
