Common corrosion-resistant chemical pump failures and solutions

(1) Corrosion-resistant chemical pump can't start or start load?

The reasons and treatment are as follows:

(1) The prime mover or power supply is abnormal.

Treatment: Check the power supply and prime mover.

(2) The pump is stuck.

Treatment method: It is to check the coupling by hand, and disassemble if necessary to eliminate the malfunction of the static and dynamic parts.

(3) The packing is pressed too tightly.

Treatment: Relax the filler.

(4) The exclusion method is not closed.

Treatment: Close the removal valve and restart.

(5) The balance tube is not smooth.

Treatment method: It is to clear the balance tube.

(2) Corrosion-resistant chemical pump is interrupted after draining

The reasons and treatment are as follows:

(1) Air leakage from the suction line.

Treatment method: check the connection of the suction pipe and the seal of the packing.

(2) When the pump is pumped, the suction side gas is not exhausted.

Treatment: It is necessary to refill the pump.

(3) The suction side is suddenly blocked by foreign matter.

Treatment method: stop the pump to handle foreign matter.

(3) The motor of the corrosion-resistant chemical pump is overheated

Possible cause: If the water supply is too large, the motor is overloaded, the motor is out of phase, the exhaust hole is blocked, and the impeller drags other components.

Remedy: Reduce the water supply to the normal range, check the wiring is firm, check the exhaust port, open the pump cover to adjust the gap between the impeller and other components.

(4) Bearing heat of corrosion-resistant chemical pump

The reasons and treatment are as follows:

(1) Bearing tile scraping is not satisfactory.

Treatment: Repair the bearing pads or replace them.

(2) The bearing clearance is too small.

Treatment method: re-adjust the bearing clearance or scrape.

(3) The amount of lubricating oil is insufficient and the oil quality is poor.

Treatment: increase the amount of oil or replace the lubricant.

(4) Poor bearing assembly.

Treatment method: Check the bearing assembly condition as required to eliminate the unqualified factors.

(5) Short circuit of cooling water.

Treatment method: maintenance, repair.

(6) The bearing is worn or loose.

Treatment method: repair the bearing or scrap. If loose, or tighten the relevant bolts.

(7) The pump shaft is bent.

Treatment: The pump shaft should be corrected.
