ROS: The soul of a robot

With the rapid development and complication of the robotics field, the demand for reusability and modularity of the original code has become stronger, and existing open-source robotic systems cannot adapt well to the needs. In 2007, the cooperation between the Stanford University artificial intelligence laboratory project and robotics company Willow Garage's personal robotics project, the ROS system began to be developed, and after 2008 it was promoted by Willow Garage. In 2010, Willow Garage released ROS (robot operating system), an open source robot operating system, and soon began a study and use of ROS in robotics research.

What is ROS system? How does it control the operation of the robot? How does it describe after receiving various signals? How is the different data combined and converted?

In order to answer these questions, we invited Mr. Li Jinbang, the founder and CEO of EAI Technology, to take us to understand the ROS system and tell us how the robot thinks.
