Scientists are vigorously building LED greenhouses

With the development of technology, led lighting has achieved greater breakthroughs, it has been integrated into all areas of life, no longer limited to buildings and home use. Some scientists have developed new uses based on the principle of LED light wavelength, such as LED greenhouse vegetables.

In Yakutia, the northernmost part of Russia, it is one of the coldest regions in the world. The land here is almost all permafrost, and many plants cannot grow here. It is difficult for residents here to eat fresh vegetables. However, with the promotion of LED lighting greenhouses, residents here can eat vegetables.

According to the understanding, many scientists are working together to develop LED lighting greenhouses. Projects using this technology will be completed in the cold regions by the end of this year. By then, residents of the Yakutia region of Russia will be able to eat fresh vegetables and fruits.

This technology is based on the characteristics of red and blue wavelengths of LED lamps , and has developed LED plant growth equipment and management systems that can grow in greenhouses. This technology makes plant growth in cold regions no longer affected by climatic conditions. At present, Russian scientists are studying this technology, and the promotion of LED lighting to plant growth will be used in the future.
