On May 7, 2015, Brilliance China officially launched its new compact SUV, the "China V3." The model came in nine variants, with prices ranging from 6.57 to 10.2 million yuan. In September 2015, the brand introduced the China V3 Smart version, offering two options: a 1.5MT and a 1.5AT smart model, priced at 77,700 and 88,700 yuan respectively. The new China V3 is now officially available for purchase!

In terms of design, the new China V3 sports a fresh front grille with silver chrome accents, seamlessly integrated with the headlights to create a wider, more aggressive look. The fog light area on both sides features a distinctive "C"-shaped design, while the headlights use a split-light system with lens-equipped low beams.
The body features a suspended roof design, maintaining a similar silhouette to previous models but with refined lines. The taillights are split and extend to connect with the license plate area, giving the rear a more dynamic and layered appearance. The lower bumper was redesigned with a dual-exhaust layout, accented with chrome for added visual movement, while the black bumper maintains a sporty yet stable look.
The new China V3 measures 4240 mm in length, 1803 mm in width, and 1600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2570 mm. Although slightly smaller than the Southeast DX3, its lower stance gives it a more slender and modern visual appeal. It's set to compete directly with the Changan CS35 and the Southeast DX3 in the compact SUV segment.
To keep up with the latest trends in automotive technology, the China V3 now includes a 10.4-inch central LCD touchscreen, allowing drivers to control most functions through a simplified interface with minimal physical buttons. This upgrade significantly improves the car’s digital experience.
Under the hood, the new China V3 continues to offer the same 1.5L naturally aspirated and 1.5L turbocharged engines as the current model. The 1.5L engine delivers 82 kW of power and 145 Nm of torque, while the 1.5T engine produces 110 kW and 220 Nm. These performance figures are comparable to those of its competitors. The transmission options remain unchanged, with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic available.
