Cree Announces Upgraded Higher Brightness XLamp® High Voltage LEDs

Clarion (Nasdaq: CREE), a market leader in LED lighting, announces an upgraded version of its higher brightness XLamp® XT-E HV and XM-L HV high voltage LEDs, providing lighting manufacturers with greater efficiency and cost effectiveness Device. The new product is powered by the SC3 technology platform, and the XLamp® XB-D and XT-E LEDs, which were just released recently, are also derived from this platform. The SC3 technology platform is based on Cree's leading silicon carbide (SiC) technology, which exhibits excellent features in LED chip structure and phosphor technology, while adopting the latest packaging technology to provide the industry's most advanced LED devices.

Based on the SC3 technology platform, the luminous flux of the new XLamp® XT-E HV and XM-L HV high-voltage LEDs is up 22% from the previous generation. XLamp® XT-E HV and XM-L HV high voltage LEDs are optimized for lower cost, higher efficiency and smaller drive sizes than standard voltage LED products. The higher brightness of the XLamp® XT-E HV and XM-L HV high voltage LEDs outperforms standard voltage LEDs in performance, eliminating the need to trade off LED efficacy and drive efficiency. The new high-voltage XLamp® LEDs offer customers more design options, including small indoor and outdoor lighting applications, such as accent lighting and replacement lighting.

The XLamp® XT-E HV high-voltage LED has a luminous flux of up to 357 lm at 85 ° C, 3 W, cool white (6,500 K), and a luminous flux of 275 lm at 85 ° C, 3 W, warm white (3,000 K). XLamp® XM-L HV high-voltage LEDs have a luminous flux of up to 647 lm at 85 ° C, 6 W, cool white (6,500 K), and 555 lm at 85 ° C, 6 W, warm white (3,000 K).
