I have a Changhong LCD TV model LED32B2080 that won't turn on. When I press the standby button, there is no response at all. I disassembled the power supply board and checked the voltages of each line, which were all normal. The output from the linear regulators on the main board also looked good. However, pressing the standby button didn't generate any start signal. At first, I suspected a memory data issue. I removed the 25Q32 memory chip and tried to rewrite the data, but during the erase process, it completed instantly, yet the verification showed that the data wasn’t actually erased. I'm not sure if the memory was write-protected or just faulty. To test further, I found a 25Q64 chip from an old notebook motherboard, re-downloaded the data, and replaced the original memory. After that, the TV turned on normally, but the image was inverted. I then re-wrote the data again and booted it up successfully. While searching for the correct data, I noticed that there's very little information available for this specific model. I ended up downloading data from similar models and matched it with the screen model (M320X12-E7-AD). Now the TV works perfectly with the new data. I can share the working data now, which proves that this model is compatible and easy to fix. I recommend others follow a similar approach when dealing with similar issues.
