But the facts speak louder than words: the data shows that when the LED voltage is reduced, the transmitted light power decreases linearly, while the input power decreases exponentially. At some point, its luminous power exceeds the input power.
In this experiment, LED lamps produced nearly 68 picowatts of light efficiency at 30 picowatts of power. Although the results of the experiment are gratifying, it will take time to bring this ultra-efficient LED into the market.
